Creating immersive ambient textures at dawn beside Aberystwyth Castle

In the shadow of the castle ruins I recorded a quick soundscape, trying to fit the mood of the ruins and surrounding landscape. The grass was scorched from the multiple heatwaves of 2026, yet the morning was grey and windy.

The castle is situated on a hilltop right next to the sea and was the perfect setting to layer up the different textures of the Sonicware Liven Ambient Ø synthesiser
