Live Ableton Performance at Kirkstall Abbey Ruins, Leeds UK
Kirkstall Abbey is a ruined Cistercian monastery in North Leeds on the bank of the River Aire. Founded by monks that moved from Barnoldswick to Kirkstall around 1152.
859 years later I made the same journey, relocating from Barnoldswick to Leeds.
Filmed around 6AM as the sun was starting to rise and Leeds began to wake. As well as layering some sounds with the Sonicware Liven Ambient ΓΈ synth I also added drums with Ableton and finally a synth line I have been working on, with a patch created with the u-he DIVA plugin
